Among one of the most unique points of interest is the commercial fishing fleet which has chosen to call Point Pleasant Beach home port for generations. These fishing boards are owned by the families of the earliest settlers in the Point Pleasant Area. Today these families make their living from the same waters as their grandfathers did. We recognize the important role these early residents played and continue to play in shaping our communities.
