The "Festival of the Sea" Presented by the Asbury Park Press is a street fair located in the heart of downtown Point Pleasant Beach, on Arnold & Bay Avenues, where visitors sample dishes by area's finest restaurants (from clam chowder to lobster to steak); wine garden, arts & crafts, pony rides, antiques, health, business and non-profit booths, kiddie games and live entertainment.

Thirty four years of growth, 60,000 people attend. Held in the off season to extend the tourist season. Twenty-five of the Shore's best restaurants serving landlubber and seafood delights. Over 225 crafters & artists, plus other exhibits and games for the whole family. The Festival is the "proud" recipient of the American Bus Association's one of "The top 100 events in North America", and one of the best "tree entertainment", by the Asbury Park Press's best of Monmouth/Ocean County readers' Peoples Choice Award. Plenty of tables around so you can eat and enjoy the live entertainment.

The Festival runs from 10 am -7 pm, so you can enjoy lunch and dinner with us. Also, featuring shuttles, so parking is not a problem. This is a street fair, so there is no entrance fee. The Festival is followed at night by "Fireworks" donated by Jenkinson's at Jenkinson's Beach. A wonderful day for the whole family!!!

Shuttle service runs from Jenkinson’s boardwalk, to the NJ Train Station, to Broadway to Ocean Ave. to Arnold Ave. and back to the NJ Transit train station, one runs from Point Pleasant Boro High School parking lot on Beaver Dam Road to Lincoln Ave. and the other runs from the parking lot (formally the Southern House lot) at the corner of Rt. 35N & Washington Ave.
